Venom: The Last Dance is praised by fans as the “most entertaining” part of the trilogy

Early viewers of Venom: The Last Dance were overwhelmed by the last part of the trilogy.

The Marvel blockbuster, which focuses on Spider-Man anti-hero Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy), follows on from the 2018 hit Poisonand 2021 Venom: Let There Be Carnage.

Screenplay and direction: Kelly Marcel, The Last Dance Join Eddie and Venom on the run as they are hunted by enemies in both worlds. According to the logline, the two are forced to make a “devastating decision” that “brings the curtain down on their final dance.”

Even though the film doesn't hit theaters for another three days, a number of people, including critics and journalists, have attended preview screenings of the film and are sharing their reactions on X/Twitter.

Venom: The Last Dance takes you on a wild and exciting journey from start to finish,” he wrote Screen Rants Joseph Lidmeier. “It's a fun popcorn movie that reminds me of the comic book movies of the early 2000s.

“The action is great and a homage to 80s action movies. There are a lot of funny moments,” he continued. “Are there any plot holes and some problems with the story? Yes. (Is) it fun? Besides, yes.”

Digital spy Film editor Ian Sandwell agreed, writing that the film was “the most entertaining of the trilogy”.

He added: “It's mostly a fun and sweet road trip with Eddie and Venom living their lives.” Thelma and Louise Escape dreams including car karaoke and dog rescue. You may even become emotional.”

In the meantime, The wraps Drew Taylor added: “Venom: The Last Dance is the best of it Poison Movies – the madness was greatly increased, but so was the heart. It’s not perfect, but it’s super entertaining.”

Other viewers called the film's final act “crazy” and agreed Venom: The Last Dance is “classic guilty pleasure cinema” that “extends its PG-13 rating as far as possible.”

When Venom: The Last Dance Announced in 2022, fans predicted the film would be the “first film to sell a trillion tickets.”

When Let there be a bloodbath Although the film was released in theaters in 2021, it enjoyed a successful box office success, grossing half a million dollars despite not being released in theaters in China.

It was the seventh highest-grossing film of the year F9: The Fast Saga, No time to die And Spider-Man: No Way Home the only English-language films to surpass it.

Venom: The Last Dance hits theaters on October 25th.
