Halloween is just around the corner and several cities in the Detroit area have released recommended times for residents to go trick-or-treating.

Lake Orion: 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m

Waterford: 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. *Some neighborhoods may extend this time by leaving porch lights on to show that they are handing out treats

Novi: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m

Hazel Park: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m

Milford: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m

Richmond: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m

Shelby Township: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m

Chesterfield: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m

Taylor: 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m

Wyandotte: 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m

Rockwood: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m

St. Clair: 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m

Algonac: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m

Ann Arbor: 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m

Chelsea: 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m

Northfield Township: 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m

Dundee: 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m

Monroe: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m

Maybe: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m

Detroit Police and Fire Departments will host a trunk-or-treats event on October 31st
