DeAndre Hopkins revealed the Chiefs' deal on social media before the deal crossed the finish line

The Kansas City Chiefs are 6-0 and made a spectacular move on Wednesday. The fan base woke up to exciting news when the team traded for receiver DeAndre Hopkins.

The Chiefs sent a conditional fifth-round pick to Tennessee, which could go up to a fourth-round pick. Given the number of injuries Kansas City had to contend with at receiver, the move was necessary.

While the trade surprised many people, Hopkins hinted at the move on social media a few days ago.

Four days ago, Hopkins posted a video on his Instagram account of his family singing and dancing to Taylor Swift's “22.”

As most people know, Swift is dating Travis Kelce. She has attended countless Chiefs games and has become a huge fan.

The fact that Hopkins posted his family jamming to their song on social media was a clear indication that a trip to Kansas City was on the horizon. But many of us have overlooked this.

Now the 32-year-old is officially a member of the Chiefs Kingdom. The Clemson product is a skilled playmaker who has sure hands. He will step in immediately and give the Chiefs a reliable weapon.

In his career, Hopkins has 943 receiving yards (1,529 receiving yards) for 12,528 receiving yards and 79 touchdowns. Kansas City decided to acclimate Hopkins immediately in hopes he would be fit on Sunday.

He's ready to hit the ground running in Kansas City, and his family will fit in nicely.
