More and more celebrities are being mentioned in Diddy's sex crime lawsuits

As more and more sexual assault lawsuits come in against Sean “Diddy” Combs, more and more celebrities are being mentioned in the documents.

While the stars remained particularly anonymous in the most recent documents and were never mentioned by name, two lawsuits filed against the disgraced rapper, 55, named a total of three stars who were allegedly somehow involved in Diddy's alleged sexual assault. (Two of these public figures were allegedly perpetrators or involved in the crime, while another is said to have stopped the crime.)

In one of the most recent lawsuits against Diddy, filed by attorney Tony Buzbee on Sunday, October 20, a teenager (referred to as John Doe in the documents) claimed that the Bad Boy manager sexually assaulted him around the year 2022 13 years old at the time, claimed he was in a private one-on-one business meeting with Diddy when the “I'll Be Missing You” artist allegedly exposed himself to John Doe and grabbed John Doe's genitals.

“The situation escalated until another individual, Professional Athlete A, entered the office and intervened, which ended the Combs' attack on Plaintiff (Doe),” the lawsuit states. “At that moment, plaintiff fled Combs and left the office. After leaving the office, the plaintiff left the party to return home.”

In another lawsuit, a woman identified only as Jane Doe claimed she was 13 years old when she attended an MTV VMAs afterparty in 2000. After feeling sleepy, she went into a bedroom to lie down when Diddy and an unnamed female star and an unnamed male star entered the room.

The woman claimed in the documents that the unnamed male star raped her while Diddy and the unnamed female star watched. Diddy then raped her, she claimed, while the unnamed male and female celebrities looked on.

In February, music producer Rodney Jones didn't hesitate to name more than a dozen celebrities who were somehow involved in Diddy's circle and either received financial benefits from the rapper's alleged crimes or were able to make Hollywood connections because of their connection to Diddy.

Jones himself claimed that he was groomed and a victim of sexual misconduct, but also claimed that Diddy was involved in sex trafficking operations. (Notably, Diddy was arrested in September and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and solicitation for prostitution; he remains in a Brooklyn jail until his trial next May. He has pleaded not guilty.)

As for the celebrities named in Jones' documents, many were not accused of any actual wrongdoing – but they were connected to Diddy in some way, even through mutual connections.

One notable name was Prince Harry; In the lawsuit, Jones claimed that Diddy's associates were able to gain access to the prince for their (and Diddy's) own influence.

“Mr. Combs was known for throwing the 'best' parties,” according to the court filing Newsweek read. “The affiliation and/or general business partnerships with Mr. Combs brought legitimacy, immense success and access to top and emerging artists, celebrities, famous athletes, political figures, musicians and international dignitaries such as…Prince Harry.”

However, it appears that Harry (and his brother, Prince William) only met Diddy once – when he performed at a 10-year tribute honoring their late mother, Princess Diana, in 2007.

Other people in Jones' lawsuit were careful not to be named, although pop culture fans can certainly identify the stars mentioned.

One person is described as “a Grammy-winning R&B singer who had trouble with law enforcement after attacking a Bajan billionaire whose name was also redacted.” Another redacted name was described as “Philadelphia rapper who “went out with Nicki Minaj”.

When Buzbee announced last month that he and his firm were representing 120 accusers — 60 men and 60 women, some of whom were minors at the time — he alluded to the allegation that various stars enabled Diddy's crimes.

The attorney claimed his legal team has contacted “more than 3,285 people who claim to have been victims of Sean Combs.” Buzbee stated that he will “expose the enablers who enabled this behavior behind closed doors” – “enablers” whose “names will shock you.”

Diddy's legal team has repeatedly – and vehemently – denied all allegations against her client.

“We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason and without evidence,” its spokespeople said in a statement to Newsweek on Wednesday. “Fortunately, there is a fair and impartial legal process to determine the truth, and Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail against these and other baseless claims in court.”

Their recent statement from Diddy's lawyers supports their previous argument.

“Mr. “Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone – adult or minor, male or female,” the hip-hop mogul's lawyers announced after the first six lawsuits were filed against him last week.
