Alex Rodriguez and Derek Jeter reveal the New York Post's Yankees-era fears

Derek Jeter claims he's mostly been able to resist the temptation to read The Post.

Jeter and Alex Rodriguez, part of Fox Sports' studio coverage during the MLB playoffs, had a lively discussion about their exposure to the New York newspapers during their time with the Yankees.

Jeter said the Yankees distributed the Mail and other newspapers around the clubhouse and he didn't read them very often – but he knew A-Rod did.

Above all, Jeter said he hopes not to be on the back foot.

At this point, A-Rod joked that he didn't care about the back pages – he was reading Page Six.

Both former Yankee teammates made the newspapers for both their on-field performance and their love of starlets off the field.

Jeter's previous girlfriends included Minka Kelly, Mariah Carey, Adriana Lima, Jessica Alba and Jessica Biel.

He eventually settled down and married former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Hannah Davis (who became Hannah Jeter), and the couple have four children together.

Meanwhile, A-Rod's former flames include Kate Hudson, Cameron Diaz, Torrie Wilson, Madonna and Jennifer Lopez.

A-Rod is currently dating fitness enthusiast Jaclyn Cordeiro.

“She’s been a good influence on me,” A-Rod told The Post this summer, referring to Cordeiro helping him focus on his conditioning.

“I've been working hard and trying to stay in shape and continue to copy some of their great work ethic and health and wellness practices,” Rodriguez said at the time.

Jeter played for the Yankees from 1995 to 2014 and was part of five World Series championship teams, while A-Rod's time in the Bronx from 2004 to 2016 included winning two MVP awards in 2009.
