The East Coast counterpart to San Diego Comic-Con – namely New York Comic-Con – is in full swing, which means we're getting plenty of new trailers, first looks, featurettes and more from some of the most anticipated films and series Series that are coming to our screens in the near (or hopefully near) future. We'll show you all of them as soon as they're released. So be sure to check back here every day from Thursday, October 17th to Sunday, October 20th for the latest movie and TV trailers!

Technically, Netflix released this trailer early this morning, but there was a panel for this film later in the day, so we're counting it. MCU veterans Joe and Anthony Russo direct this sci-fi action film, based on the 2018 graphic novel of the same name, about a girl living in an alternate version of the 1990s who teams up with her robot companion goes on a journey and looks for a friendly stranger for her missing brother. The star-studded cast includes Millie Bobby Brown, Chris Pratt, Ke Huy Quan, Stanley Tucci and more.

Batman Ninja vs Yakuza League

Fans got their first glimpse during a panel discussion on Thursday Batman Ninja vs Yakuza Leaguethe sequel to the 2018 film Batman Ninja. While the first film sent the Caped Crusader to feudal Japan to face off against his familiar enemies, the sequel finds him in conflict with an alternate version of the Justice League.

The upcoming animated film Lord of the rings The film, set 183 years before Peter Jackson's legendary live-action trilogy and telling the story of a legendary king of Rohan, held a panel discussion early Friday and released a new featurette detailing the behind-the-scenes making process of the film.

The latter studio hosted a BlumFest panel on Friday to celebrate the studio's 15th anniversary and release the first trailer Wolfmanstarring Christopher Abbott and Julia Garner.

We've received the first half of this new animated adaptation from DC Comics. Guardian already in August of this year and with Chapter 2 will be released in November, we got a red band trailer for it on Friday.

The Penguin Mid-Season Trailer

HBO appeared at the con with Colin Farrell, Cristin Milioti, Michael Kelly, Clancy Brown and more The penguin co-stars and creators to chat about the series and preview the remaining midseason episodes.

We finally got our first look at it Dune: Prophecythe prequel series set 10,000 years before the events of Denis Villeneuve dune films and centers around the supernatural sisterhood known as the Bene Gesserit. The trailer also revealed a premiere date for the series: November 17th.

We still don't know exactly when season 8 of Rick and Morty will premiere, but at the show's NYCC panel we not only learned that it has been renewed for two more seasons – taking us up to Season 12 – but we also got an in-progress animation of a Season 8 opening scene in where disaster strikes when Rick and Morty board a ship full of passengers while in cryosleep.

Coming to adult swimming in 2025


The Starz fantasy drama Outlander released a trailer for the second half of the seventh season, whose eight episodes in the first half ended on August 11th. Part 2, also consisting of eight episodes, will debut on November 22nd and run until January 10th, 2025.

During its late afternoon panel discussion on Friday, Prime Video gave us a glimpse at the upcoming adaptation of James Patterson's novel Alex Cross Crime novel series in which Aldis Hodge plays the title role, a brilliant detective with a talent for identifying murder victims and tracking down murderers.

fans of The walking dead also got their first look at season 2 of TWD Spin off Dead citywhich follows Lauren Cohan's Maggie and Jeffrey Dean Morgan's Negan as they navigate Manhattan in search of Maggie's kidnapped son.
