Anti-aging fanatic Bryan Johnson brags about plasma as he unveils new therapy

Anti-aging fanatic Bryan Johnson boasted that his plasma was so squeaky clean a medical worker “couldn't bring himself to throw it away” as the tech mogul revealed a new process he uses to remove toxins from his body.

Johnson, 47, who invests $2 million a year in his pursuit of eternal youth, said Monday that he had undergone a total plasma exchange, in which that fluid would be removed from his body and replaced with pure albumin, a protein , which is found in a person's blood plasma.

He noted that the process was different than exchanging blood with his teenage son, whom he bizarrely nicknamed “Blood Boy” last year. Blood exchange reportedly had no real benefits.

“TPE removes all of my body’s plasma and replaces it with albumin,” Johnson wrote on social media.

“The aim of therapy is to rid my body of toxins. The evidence is clear.”

The exchange involves running a patient's blood through a machine in which the filtered plasma is removed by reinfusing red blood cells as well as a replacement fluid such as plasma or albumin, according to the National Institutes of Health.

Johnson, who made his huge fortune in his 30s when he sold his payment processing company to eBay, said he took a series of baseline measurements before proceeding with therapy, which will involve a total of six treatments.

He then claimed that the operator, who has been performing full plasma exchange for nine years, was amazed that his plasma was “the cleanest he had ever seen.” With distance.”

“He couldn’t get over it,” Johnson said of the operator. “When we finished, he couldn’t bring himself to throw it away. He imagined all the good it could do in the world.”

He then said it was possible that his plasma would be auctioned or donated following the next procedure.

“Liquid gold,” he called it.

Johnson has become a prominent face of the anti-aging movement, using his money to follow an incredibly strict routine monitored by a team of doctors that includes daily exercise, a vegan diet and taking more than 100 daily supplements.
