Apple TV+ debut trailer for the Billy Crystal thriller

Billy Crystal brings the seasonal chills in supernatural mystery series.

Like so many of his contemporaries, Billy Crystal was lured by Apple TV+.

The actor, star of 80s films like When Harry Met Sally… And City Slickersthe voice of Mike Wazowski in Monsters Inc.and host of nine Academy Awards, leads the cast of the disturbing psychological thriller Before. He is also executive producer of the 10-episode limited series.

Before Crystal plays Eli, a child psychiatrist who, after recently losing his wife Lynn, meets a troubled little boy named Noah who seems to have a haunting connection to Eli's past. As Eli tries to help Noah, their mysterious bond deepens. The streamer describes the show as “Character-driven psychological thriller.”

Starring alongside Crystal are Judith Light, Jacobi Jupe, Rosie Perez, Maria Dizzia and Ava Lalezarzadeh.

The show hails from Paramount Television Studios and is showrunner, writer and executive producer Sarah Thorp (Damien). Adam Bernstein (silo) directs the pilot episode and is also an executive producer alongside Eli Roth and Jet Wilkinson.

Before starts on Apple TV+ with a double-episode premiere Friday, October 25th, with weekly episodes thereafter.
