As a reminder, today is the last day to register to vote on November 5th

SALEM, Ore. (KTVZ) – Today, Tuesday, October 15, is the deadline to register to receive a ballot for the November general election, the Oregon Secretary of State's office reminded.

County clerks will begin mailing ballots to all registered voters in Oregon tomorrow, Wednesday, October 16th. Voters can fill out and return their ballot any time up until Election Day on Tuesday, November 5thTh. To be counted, ballots must be postmarked no later than that date or submitted by 8:00 p.m.

You can register to vote online at OregonVotes.gov/register – it takes less than three minutes.

“Voting in Oregon feels good because we make registering to vote quick and easy,” said Secretary of State LaVonne Griffin-Valade. “As of October of this year, more than 3 million Oregonians are already registered to vote. It’s not too late – register to vote today and make your voice heard.”

Oregon residents may also choose to register by filling out a voter registration form and returning it to the county election office.
