Arizona State football coach Kenny Dillingham caused a stir on social media after his team's 24-14 loss to Cincinnati on Saturday when he said his team would have tryouts on Monday in search of a field goal -Perform kicker for the Sun Devils.

“Our kicking game is atrocious,” Dillingham told the media. “If you can kick and are at Arizona State, email me. We will have kicking tryouts on Monday. So, come on. Kicking tryouts on Monday. Let's go. Yes, I am absolutely serious.” We will publish it on our social networks, we will have a kicking trial on Monday. We have to find someone who can make a field goal.

ASU's Ian Hershey missed a 48-yard and 41-yard field goal attempt in the fourth quarter of Saturday's loss that would have brought ASU within a touchdown.

But the missed shots ended any chance the Sun Devils had of getting back into the game against the Bearcats.
