Montgomery confirmed that Riley Tufte will indeed make his Bruins debut for the club tonight. He will replace Max Jones on the third line and form a trio with Trent Frederic and Justin Brazeau.

Tufte, 26, signed a one-year contract with the Bruins last offseason. He had one goal and one assist in five games last season for the Colorado Avalanche. He also played 67 games for the Colorado Eagles, scoring 23 goals and 46 points.

Additionally, Montgomery confirmed that defenseman Parker Wotherspoon will make his season debut for the Bruins against the Canadiens. He is expected to play on the third pairing with Andrew Peeke and replace Mason Lohrei in the lineup.
