Chris Collier was added to the 53-man roster, Kristian Welch was promoted against the Buccaneers

Running back Chris Collier was elevated to the 53-man roster from the practice squad, while linebacker Kristian Welch was elevated to the practice squad for Monday night's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Collier had made a practice squad maximum of three on game days and played 12 snaps exclusively on special teams. Collier, an undrafted rookie out of Division II Loch Haven, will be available for special teams and as the No. 3 guy behind Derrick Henry and Justice Hill. Rookie running back Rasheen Ali (ankle) is out against the Buccaneers after making his NFL debut with nine special teams snaps against the Washington Commanders in Week 6. Baltimore had an additional spot on the 53-man roster after returnee Deonte Harty was placed on injured reserve on Saturday.

Welch was signed by the Ravens on October 16 after being released by the Denver Broncos. He will be available for the linebacker rotation, replacing Malik Harrison (groin injury), who was out for the second straight game. While he played primarily on special teams for the Broncos this season, Welch saw the most defensive action of his career in Denver with 36 snaps, including one start.

Welch, who went undrafted out of Iowa, played his first three seasons in Baltimore, where he appeared in 43 games and recorded 21 tackles, mostly on special teams. He played 44 defensive snaps in his three years with the Ravens and appeared in 14 games for the Green Bay Packers last season.

The Ravens did not activate nickel cornerback Arthur Maulet (knee/hamstring) from injured reserve prior to their Week 7 game. Maulet's 21-day practice window ends in midweek, meaning he must either be added to the 53-man roster or remain on injured reserve and end his season.
