Cincinnati Bengals rookie Amarius Mims tells a hilarious story about Tee Higgins

CINCINNATI – Bengals rookie offensive tackle Amarius Mims is one of the NFL's greatest players. Standing 6-8 and weighing 340 pounds, the 18th pick in the 2024 draft hopes to become a franchise right tackle for Cincinnati.

Were any of his teammates “impressed” by his size?

“Tee Higgins,” Mims told Dan Hoard on the Bengals Booth Podcast. “One day when I got here, I walked into the group and he just looked at me and said, 'Brother, are you OK?' I say 'yes'. He said, “Brother, I've never seen anyone your size before.” I guess that surprised him a little because it was one of my first times actually being near him.

Mims has made two starts for the Bengals this season. They hope he can quickly develop into a right tackle for the franchise with Orlando Brown Jr. manning the left side.
