Colorado's Omarion Miller leaves the game against KSU in a wheelchair after suffering a leg injury

Colorado Buffaloes wide receiver Omarion Miller suffered a serious injury during a 51-yard reception against Kansas State with 13:46 left in the fourth quarter. Miller, a standout player for the Buffaloes this season, was visibly in significant pain after the game and needed help getting to the sideline. His injury was so serious that he did not return to the game, and reports after the game showed him sitting in a wheelchair with his left leg wrapped near the tunnel.

Miller's injury added to the growing list of concerns for the Buffaloes, who were already dealing with the loss of two key players, Travis Hunter and Jimmy Horn Jr. Both Hunter and Horn were sidelined for the second half, further weakening Colorado's offensive capabilities. Travis Hunter, a two-way player and one of the Buffaloes' top talents, has already struggled with injuries this season, and his absence, along with Horn's, left Colorado with fewer options in the passing game.

The loss of Omarion Miller is particularly hard on the Buffaloes as he has been a bright spot on offense in recent games, providing key possessions and explosive plays. His 145 yards against Kansas State showcased his ability to make big plays, but unfortunately also ended in a potentially serious injury.

Colorado now faces questions about its strength at wide receiver as the team deals with a growing injury list. As the season continues, the Buffaloes will look for other players to fill Miller's absence and hope for a quick recovery from their star receivers.
