Dancing With the Stars Season 33, Week 4 Elimination

Dancing With the Stars Season 33, Week 4 Elimination

It was an emotional Dancing With the Stars during Dedication Night.

The remaining nine couples honored influential and special people in their lives with heartfelt appearances on the October 15 episode. Former “DWTS” pro Mark Ballas joined Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli as a special guest judge.

Derek Hough and his wife Hayley Erbert Hough moved the judges, presenters and audience to tears with their moving performance of “Beautiful Things (Acoustic)” by Benson Boone. The dance celebrated her return to the ballroom after her brain surgery.

In a special video, Derek Hough recalled their horrific experience and how his wife “learned to walk again, got her strength back, had no skull for a few weeks and was walking around in a helmet.”

“It was difficult. I was struggling, but every time I walked into that room, Haley had a smile on her face,” he said. “I was just so impressed by her strength. She is my beautiful miracle.”

The dancer then spoke about her recovery and shared that doctors didn't know if she would walk again. “But I like to say that I'm a very stubborn person, so I was determined to push myself to the limit to be able to dance again,” she said.
