DB Malaki Starks expresses his frustration with Georgia's win over Mississippi State

Following the Bulldogs' 41-31 win over Mississippi State, frustration among the Georgia fan base is at an all-time high. The team hasn't lived up to its expectations, and with the schedule getting more difficult from here on out, something needs to change quickly.

Some members of the Georgian football team are also feeling frustration growing. DB Malaki Starks talked about this after the Mississippi State game.

“I don’t think we’ve played a full game of football yet. And that’s really frustrating.”

Now I don't know if I completely agree with Starks or not because UGA beat Clemson in the first game of the season. Yes, the Bulldogs only led 6-0 at halftime, but it's hard to complain about anything after winning the game 34-3.

I also don't think there's anything positive to take away from beating Tennessee Tech in week two.

But after these two games, Starks is right, Georgia hasn't played a complete game yet.

The one-point win over Kentucky in the third game is a great example of Georgia's inability to find a rhythm on offense. Then there's the loss to Alabama, where Georgia trailed 21-0 at the end of the first quarter. Imagine how different the game could have been if UGA had shown up in the first quarter.

Then we have the last two games where things perhaps went a little better. But as I said before (and as almost every UGA fan does), it hasn't been good enough lately.

Do we seriously think Georgia has a chance at Texas this week if they don't play a solid four quarters? I don't. I actually think the game could get ugly if they don't.

So something has to change, especially in the first quarter where the Bulldogs continue to struggle. But one thing is for sure: Kirby Smart and Georgia will need to play a full 60 minutes in Austin next weekend if they want to upset the Longhorns.
