Detroit Lions QB Jared Goff continues to have an impressive day in Minnesota

The last month has been a busy one for Goff. He has completed over 80 percent of his passes with a rating above 140.0 with nine touchdowns and no interceptions in Detroit's last four games, all wins against Arizona, Seattle, Dallas and now Minnesota. He tied the franchise single-game completion percentage (88 percent) for a player with at least 25 attempts on Sunday.

What stood out about Goff's performance on Sunday was his discipline. He took the under stuff and fed his running backs until opportunities arose to hit the ball over the linebackers and into the middle and deep parts of the field. This has been Goff's game for almost a month now and it's why the Lions have the highest scoring offense in the NFL. It was the fourth time in franchise history that they scored 30-plus points in three consecutive games, also in 1997, 1971 and 1952.

“I thought we had a great plan and executed it well,” Goff said after the game.

The reality is that whatever plan offensive coordinator Ben Johnson comes up with is bound to work if the quarterback is as accurate and sees the field as well as Goff is right now.

“He’s a winner, man,” Campbell said of Goff. “He will find a way to win. He will find a way to put the offense in the right position to win the game. He doesn't let himself be upset. He's tough. He is competitive. He is simply reliable. I love that guy, man.”
