Skinner, a 6-foot point guard from Millville, Utah ridge lineHe chose Duke Iowa, TCU, Notre Dame And UCLA after an official visit last weekend.

“I was there unofficially last summer and it only lasted a day or so, so I didn't get to see everything, but when I was there I really enjoyed it,” Skinner told On3 in a previous interview. “I like all the coaches. Obviously, coach Kara (Lawson) is really good at what she does. She has a lot of experience and is really smart.”

Relationships played an important role in Skinner's decision – and she had a strong relationship with Duke's staff.

“I have a lot of fun talking to these guys,” Skinner told On3 in a previous interview. “I think they all have good personalities. All the schools I talk to are a little different – the coaches are a little different personality-wise, but I think they're all good people. The mood in the team and coaching staff was good. The campus is really pretty. I like the facilities.”

As a junior in high school, Emilee Skinner led Ridgeline to a 25-2 record and a repeat 4A state championship, averaging 24 points, 7.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.7 blocks and 3.5 steals.

“I would say I really enjoy playing in transition,” Skinner said in a previous interview. “I like to play fast. I don't like slowing things down. I like to get out and walk. I would say I'm getting to the edge. I have a good middle distance, but I think I can shoot the three well. I just need to learn to shoot with less space and faster… I think I'm a good defender, but there's always more to learn.”
