“We’re talking about trying again,” she told the outlet in an interview published on Saturday, October 12. “I was really, really honest with my doctor a few weeks ago. I just said, “We were so excited by the birth of Mack and his great achievements that I don't want to go back to that place of failure again, and I'm really, really afraid of it.”

Before her surrogate became pregnant with Mack, Erin learned that she had lost two of her embryos.

“It's crazy because as soon as you get back on the phone with your fertility doctor and start talking about the trip again, the post-traumatic stress disorder comes back, how crappy you felt, how numb your body becomes, just the fear of loss,” she said .

“Sometimes men don't want to talk about these things, but they feel the feelings too,” Andrews said. “My husband was really great after we went through more lows than highs and he just said, 'This sucks. That's just not great. I feel really crappy and like a failure and that helped a lot too.”
