Europa League recap: Roma make their way, Ajax prevail over Qarabag | Europa League

Artem Dovbyk's first-half penalty deserved Roma a 1-0 home win over Dynamo Kyivwhich gave the Serie A team their first Europa League win of the season. Dovbyk gave Roma the lead in the 23rd minute when he converted from the penalty spot after Taras Mykhavko was penalized for taking off Tommaso Baldanzi's shirt.

The visitors came close to equalizing on several occasions, missed several opportunities and had a goal disallowed for offside just before half-time. Real company hit Maccabi Tel Aviv 2-1 in Belgrade thanks to goals from Jon Pacheco and Sergio Gómez. Dor Turgeman scored the hosts' late goal nine minutes from time before his teammate Osher Davida was sent off for a second yellow card just before the end.

Eintracht Frankfurt overcame a surprisingly tricky challenge and secured a 1-0 home win against Latvia RFSwith Hugo Larsson scoring the decisive goal late in the second half.
