European football: Barça's perfect start to the season ends with humiliation at Osasuna | European club football

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick said the defeat was “my responsibility” because too many key players were sidelined. “I tried to protect the players because they played a lot of minutes. But I didn't expect us to play like that. We made a lot of mistakes and Osasuna did well.”

Juventus coach Thiago Motta responded to criticism of Vlahovic after the game. “I think you pay too much attention to one player,” Motta said. “He was always very good. I understand the expectations and needs of a striker at this level. But as I said from the beginning, he is a positive leader who helps a lot.

“I'm happy because he scored, but I was also happy when he didn't. He needs to improve and be more connected to the team because he is an important player in many aspects of our game. He’s fine and needs to keep working like he’s doing.”

Lautaro Martínez scored and helped on either side of the half-time break Inter to a 3-2 win Udinese in Serie A as the defending champions recovered to end a three-game winning streak in all competitions.

Davide Frattesi gave Inter the lead after 43 seconds from a superb low cross from Matteo Darmian, before Udinese defender Christian Kabasele equalized with a header. In Ligue 1, Monaco maintained their unbeaten start as Lamine Camara's stoppage-time goal secured a 2-1 win Montpellier.
