Every now and then there are showers and storms, and the temperatures will soon drop!

CLEVELAND – Occasional rainfall will occur throughout Northeast Ohio this evening into the night, particularly north of RT. 30. Temperatures will drop to the mid to upper 40s for many tonight.

Further lake effect rain is possible on Monday and Tuesday as colder air moves in from the northwest. Temperatures will be difficult to warm as we begin the work week, with many reaching highs of around 50°C by midweek.

The colder air will bring the possibility of our first wet snowflakes of the season late Monday night into Tuesday morning, particularly in the snowbelt region.

The pattern of cool and wet conditions will finally be broken by the end of the week and sunshine will return from Thursday into the weekend. Temperatures will be closer to average on Thursday and Friday.

What to expect

  • Sunday night there will be occasional showers
