Fans are calling Gwen Stefani “unrecognizable” after the singer debuts a new look on “The Voice.”

Gwen Stefani's signature blonde hair was refreshed in the fall and made a dramatic debut on a recent episode of The voice.

The event “What are you waiting for?” will take place on Monday. The singer changed her look with one small detail – but it made a big difference as loyal viewers of the hit NBC reality competition series branded her “unrecognizable.”

There were several stunned reactions to a promotional photo Stefani, 55, shared ahead of the Oct. 21 episode that showed her cheering on Team Gwen — including her competitors Sloane Simon And Jaylen Dunham—during the first night of Season 26 Battles.

In the picture, the No Doubt singer sat on the show's iconic red chair, wearing a yellow and green floral tank top dress and chunky solid metal bracelets. Stefani kept her makeup neutral and bright with a peach lipstick, blush, and subtle yet shimmery eyeshadow. With her new hairstyle, she kept her long blonde hair parted in the middle and added blunt, full bangs.

Regardless of whether she had her hair cut or not, or whether she wore a more temporary clip-in haircut, she in turn changed her entire look.

“You don’t even look like Gwen Stefani,” one critic wrote in part on X (formerly Twitter).

“Gwen's wig makes me angry #thevoice,” confessed a second.

“Gwen fires your stylist,” another viewer suggested. “That wig with the bangs won’t do you anything.”

“I thought that was Sutton,” another admitted, seemingly embarrassing Stefani The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Sutton Stracke.

Despite the confusion, there were many even more positive comments.

“You age like fine wine,” enthused one.

“The natural looks fantastic. You looked absolutely beautiful tonight.” The voice”, a second shared.

“I love your whole look!” someone else shouted. “You look absolutely stunning and your sunflower dress is so beautiful!”

“Totally random, but Gwen Stefani looks so good the voice tonight,” another added.
