Fantasy Football Start 'Em or Sit 'Em Week 7: Tony Pollard, DeAndre Hopkins, Calvin Ridley

Fantasy Football Start 'Em or Sit 'Em Week 7: Tony Pollard, DeAndre Hopkins, Calvin Ridley

The Tennessee Titans will look to get back on track in Week 7 after losing to the Indianapolis Colts in Week 6, where wide receivers Calvin Ridley and DeAndre Hopkins and running back Tony Pollard had very different performances.

As he has been all season, Pollard was productive and one of the Titans' best weapons on offense. He carried the ball 17 times for 93 yards and a score, while also adding three receptions, albeit for -5 yards.

Hopkins led the way among the Titans' pass catchers, but finished the game with just four receptions for 54 scoreless yards. Ridley was completely blanked and failed to record a single catch despite eight targets, which is legendarily terrible.

The Titans will have a different quarterback under center this week against the Buffalo Bills as Will Levis has been ruled out and will be replaced by Mason Rudolph. Levi's was terrible, so this might actually be an improvement.

But does that change our lack of trust in Ridley and Hopkins? And will this affect Pollard, who was easily Tennessee's best fantasy author? Let's find out.

Fantasy Football Start 'Em or Sit 'Em Week 7: Tony Pollard

Pollard has put up consistent RB2 numbers this season, making him someone who should be in the lineup every week. But there are even more reasons to like him this week.

The Bills give up the third-most fantasy points per game to running backs and the Titans are without No. 2 running back Tyjae Spears, paving the way for even more work for Pollard. Cheer him on Sunday, no question.

Verdict: Start Pollard

Fantasy Football Start 'Em or Sit 'Em Week 7: DeAndre Hopkins

If you need to use a Titans wide receiver this week, Hopkins is the better choice as he has been more consistent than Ridley recently. However, that by no means makes it a permanent starting option.

Hopkins has only had six catches for 85 yards in the last two weeks, and now he's working with Rudolph, with whom he doesn't have a lot of reps or experience.

In addition, the Bills give up the seventh-fewest fantasy points per game to wide receivers. This week, it's best to avoid Hopkins unless it finds itself in an extremely desperate situation due to rest weeks and/or injuries.

Verdict: Sit Hopkins

Fantasy Football Start 'Em or Sit 'Em Week 7: Calvin Ridley

As disappointing as Hopkins has been the last few weeks, Ridley has been worse, by a lot. The veteran wideout has been targeted 14 times in the last three games, but has only had two catches for 14 yards in that span.

Maybe Rudolph can unlock Ridley, but we wouldn't bet on it, especially against a Buffalo defense that gives up the seventh-fewest fantasy points per game to wideouts. Ridley can stay on the bench.

Verdict: Sit with Ridley
