Fascinating flyers forward should reach new heights

Tyson Foerster took a remarkable step forward in his development last season. In 77 games with the Philadelphia Flyers, the 1.90 meter tall forward scored 20 goals, 13 assists and 33 points. Not only did he provide a solid offense, but he also impressed with his physicality, recording 102 goals.

After a season like this, Foerster proved that he belonged on the Flyers' roster. But while it was an impressive year for the 2020 first-round pick, he can undoubtedly reach new heights with Philadelphia in 2024-25.

It is important to note that the 2023-24 season was Foerster's first full season at the NHL level. He played his first eight NHL games in the 2022–23 season, scoring three goals and seven points. As a result, the Alliston, Ontario native spent much of last season simply adjusting to the NHL level. Now that he has more experience in the sport's most demanding league, there is every chance he will reach a new level on offense.

Foerster will also be put in a position to be successful with the Flyers. At this point, he's expected to play in the Flyers' top six and receive power play time. Therefore, we could see him becoming a dominant offensive threat this campaign.

From here, it will be exciting to see what season Foerster has ahead of him for the Flyers.
