Field of Scream's Haunted Trail and Barn is back

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – If you're looking for a spooky event to get in the Halloween spirit, turn onto Curvue Road to head to this year's Field of Screams Haunted Trail and Barn.

This year's theme is Wrong Turn. Those looking for spooky fun can navigate Rockin'TR Ranch's barns and trails where creatures lurk. The attraction begins on Saturday, October 12, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The 13th annual attraction will feature some new twists.

“We are excited to expand the event,” said Jodi Thesing-Ritter, Field of Screams coordinator. “We’re adding a hayride in the middle. We're putting in an extra barn to make people even more afraid. People should expect it to take about an hour.”

Thesing-Ritter said a portion of the event's proceeds will benefit several organizations in the Chippewa Valley, including Feed My People, Pleasant Hill Go-Getters 4-H Club, Eau Claire County 4-H Older Youth Council and Warehouse Warriors.

The event will also take place October 17-19 and October 24-26 at 8020 Curvue Road in Eau Claire.

Tickets are $20 or $18 with a non-perishable food item.
