Follow as number 16. Indiana football is trying to stay undefeated against Nebraska

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – It’s game day, Indiana fans! No. 16 Indiana hosts Nebraska. Hoosiers are undefeated in the Big Ten at 6-0 and 3-0. The Cornhuskers are 5-1 overall and 2-1 in the Big Ten. It's the biggest game in Bloomington in three years and one of the biggest ever.

Before the game – Indiana injuries submitted to Big Ten for availability report today, all players listed as out: K Derek McCormick, DB Te'Derius Collins and DT Robby Harrison are all out.

Nebraska lists K Tristan Alvaro and OL Turner Corcoran as opted out.

• I arrived at the stadium around 9am. It was already Bloominggeddon. I live in Bloomington and drove down Rogers Street to the bypass – this isn't my first rodeo – and the bypass was already crowded. I glanced at 17th Street, which branches off at Rogers, and saw that it was already bumper to bumper before the Walnut/College intersection. Good luck if you don't have a parking permit yet.

• Since this is supposed to be a legal department, the secondary market for IU parking permits is kind of scandalous. When I checked a week ago, and this was before Big Noon Kickoff, John Mellencamp, etc., the cheapest ticket on an IU-owned lot was $234. The way I see it now, it's $300. This is not a “free market”. This is a weaponized corporate secondary market taking advantage of a situation. It's happening here, it's happening in many places and it's costing a lot of people to attend games before they've even bought a ticket. Yes, there are other parking options, but some people can't park a billion miles away. I'm ranting and have no solution, but the secondary market for things like parking needs to be brought under control.
