4Weather warning – A chilly start north of metro Detroit Wednesday morning.

The first frost of the season arrives overnight in Lapeer and Genesee counties, and a freeze warning is in effect.

Outside the city, temperatures could drop to as low as 37 degrees. In cities on the east side, temperatures are expected to remain around 40 degrees.

Detroit Tigers midweek prediction

The Detroit Tigers games on Wednesday and Thursday will see sunshine and temperatures in the 60s.

Friday

Friday Night Football is also looking good, with partly cloudy skies and temperatures dropping into the 60s.
