Hamas admits “painful, painful” losses after Israeli video shows terrorist Sinwar moments before his death

Hamas admitted on Friday it suffered “very painful and shocking” losses following the killing of its leader Yahya Sinwar, after the Israeli military released a new drone video capturing the final moments of the terrorist's life.

According to IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, footage shot by a wounded Sinwar shows him throwing a wooden plank at a drone that was surveying damage in a building targeted by the Israel Defense Forces in Rafah. Sinwar was later found dead with a gun and nearly $11,000 in his possession, he added.

“Yes, it is very painful and painful to lose loved ones, especially extraordinary leaders like ours, but we are sure that in the end we will be victorious; “This is the result for all the people who fought for their freedom,” senior Hamas official Basem Naim said Friday.

“It seems that Israel believes that the killing of our leaders means the end of our movement and the struggle of the Palestinian people. “You can believe whatever you want and this isn’t the first time they’ve said that,” he continued.

Naim added that despite the previous killings of Hamas's founders and the first commander of its military wing, the terror group “each time became stronger and more popular, and these leaders became an icon for future generations to continue the path toward a free Palestine.” “

“Hamas is a liberation movement led by people seeking freedom and dignity, and that cannot be eliminated,” he also said.

The elimination of SINWAR is “significant and represents an opportunity for a ceasefire,” the State Department says

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Thursday after the announcement of Sinwar's death in the southern Gaza Strip that “Hamas will no longer rule Gaza” and “this is the beginning of the day after Hamas, and this is an opportunity for you, the Residents of Gaza to finally free themselves from its tyranny.”

A report on Israeli Army Radio said Thursday that Sinwar was killed in a fight with Israeli soldiers.

According to the report, the soldiers spotted suspected terrorists in Gaza and opened fire before the people fled into a building. A tank then fired a grenade at the building, causing it to collapse.
