It's time for the ninth edition of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup. Until October 20, 10 women's cricket teams will compete for the 2024 T20 World Cup trophy in 23 matches over 18 days. The action continues this Wednesday with South Africa v Scotland and India v Sri Lanka. Are you ready to watch the Cricket World Cup? Unfortunately, in the US the sport is still broadcast on niche channel Willow TV, which you may not have access to yet. But we are here for you. Here's everything you need to know about where to stream games, how to watch cricket for free in the US, the full Cricket World Cup schedule and more.

Date: Wednesday, October 9th

Time: 5 a.m. ET, 9 a.m. ET

TV channels: Willow TV

Streaming: Sling, DirecTV, Amazon over VPN, ICC.TV over VPN

The Cricket World Cup continues bright and early this Wednesday, October 9, with matches between South Africa v Scotland and India v Sri Lanka.

The 2024 Women's T20 World Cup will be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

In the USA, the Cricket World Cup will be broadcast exclusively on Willow TV. You may not have the niche cricket cable channel in your current package or may no longer have a cable connection at all. But don't worry, you can sign up for Willow TV directly or add it to a live TV streaming service like Sling, DirecTV Stream, or Fubo. You can also check out other ways to stream the Cricket World Cup for free (or almost free) with the help of a VPN below.

While in the US the Women's T20 World Cup will be broadcast exclusively on Willow TV (which you'll need cable or a subscription for), in Australia everything will be streamed on Amazon Prime Video – so all you need to tune in is a Prime subscriber. Outside Australia, the ICC will broadcast the Women's T20 World Cup live and free on ICC.tv via the official tournament app in 116 territories across Afghanistan, continental Europe, the Pacific Islands and Southeast Asia.

Don't currently live in Australia or one of these 116 territories? Don't worry, you can still stream like you would with the help of a VPN. A VPN (virtual private network) helps protect your data, can mask your IP address, and is perhaps most popular because it's particularly useful in the age of streaming. No matter if you want to watch Friends Watching Netflix (which left the US version of the streamer back in 2019) or the Cricket World Cup on Amazon Prime in Australia can help you with a VPN. Want to try a VPN for the first time? This guide lists the best VPN options for each type of user.

(ExpressVPN)

In Australia, viewers can watch all 23 matches of the Cricket World Cup on Amazon Prime Video. Even though you may not live in Australia, you can still do this Electricity like you do with a VPN. But ExpressVPN offers “internet without borders,” meaning U.S. viewers can watch international shows, movies and sporting events instead of paying for U.S. coverage. All you need to do is sign up for ExpressVPN, change your server location to Australia, and then find the games on Amazon Prime Video.

The added protection, speed, and choice of location options make ExpressVPN a great choice for first-time VPN users looking to expand their streaming capabilities, and it's Engadget's top pick for the best streaming VPN. New users can save 49% when they sign up for ExpressVPN’s 12-month subscription. Additionally, the service offers a 30-day money-back guarantee in case you're nervous about trying a VPN.
