The Concacaf Nations League is a national team competition created by the confederation in 2018 to ensure that all 41 Concacaf member associations regularly participate in official matches between World Cups. The 2024/25 edition of the competition began during the FIFA International Match Window in September and will continue until November. Afterwards, the four best teams in League A (the highest league) reach the semi-finals. The group stage and quarterfinals also serve as qualification for next summer's Concacaf Gold Cup.

Together, the group stage, quarterfinals and finals of the Concacaf Nations League represent a major challenge and a crucial opportunity for the participating associations and their players to play official matches in their preparation for the Concacaf Gold Cup 2025, the Concacaf World Cup qualification and the FIFA World Cup 2026 itself.

The Concacaf Nations League is also a fantastic opportunity for even more fans to engage with the sport at a crucial time in its growth in North America, Central America and the Caribbean.

The United States is the defending champion of the Concacaf Nations League and has won the three previous editions (2021 in Denver, CO, 2023 in Las Vegas, NV, and 2024 in Dallas, TX).

To determine the semifinal pairings of the 2025 Concacaf Nations League Finals, participating teams will be ranked 1-4 based on quarterfinal results, with the team with the most points facing the team with the fewest points (1 vs. 4 and 2 vs. 3).

The quarter-finals will be played in November 2024 in a home-and-away format. The pairings will be determined based on the October 2024 Concacaf rankings (after the FIFA window) and group stage results as follows:

QF1: Fourth Place Team vs. Best First Place (1A/1B)

QF2: Third place team vs. next first place team (1A/1B)

QF3: Second place team vs. best second place team (2A/2B)

QF4: Top ranked team vs. next runner-up (2A/2B)
