Houston Texans need to stop a player to beat Green Bay Packers

The Houston Texans will have the difficult task of signing one of the best wide receivers in football in Jayden Reed this week.

Reed, 24, has 27 grabs for 442 yards and three touchdowns so far in his second season in the NFL. He currently ranks seventh in the league in receiving yards, establishing himself as one of the best at the position.

Texans coach DeMeco Ryans talked about the importance of limiting his influence in their Week 7 game.

“(WR) (Jayden) Reed, he’s one of their most explosive players. “It’s jumping off the line,” Ryans said. “They try to get the ball in his hands in as many ways as possible, whether it's getting it into the backfield on wide receiver runs or just getting it to him on short intermediate passes, this kid is explosive, He's a big game threat whenever he touches the football and not just when he catches the ball, but his ability to hit back, his ability to rush past defenders, that's cool to see. Young player who has developed and been an impressive player for them and I know they are happy with what he has done. We need to make sure we keep an eye on him at all times.”

The Texans' defense will face a number of challenges this week in stopping the Packers' offense. Reed has been a big part of the team's success, along with quarterback Jordan Love, who has scored multiple touchdowns in all four starts so far this season. Reed has been on the receiving end of some, along with young up-and-coming players like Dontayvion Wicks, Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs.

The Packers have multiple ways to beat you, and the Texans need to be ready for all of them to get a road win this weekend.
