How many seasons of “Yellowstone” are there?

For such a popular show, “Yellowstone” can be very confusing.

The show last aired in 2022, which marked the start of its final season. However, the final six episodes are yet to air. And that's not to mention the countless spin-offs the series has launched since 2021.

How many seasons of “Yellowstone” are there?

Four seasons of the series have been completed, with the first half of season five airing in 2022. So far only the first eight episodes of the fifth season have been broadcast.

The final six episodes of season five will premiere on November 10th, with the last one being the series finale.

There are also two spin-offs, “1883” and “1923”. “1883” is over after one season. “1923” has only aired in one season and will end with season 2.

So in total there are about seven seasons of “Yellowstone” content, although only five are from the flagship series.

How to watch previous seasons of “Yellowstone

“Yellowstone” airs on the Paramount Network. This might lead you to believe that it is available to stream on Paramount Plus, but that is not the case.

Due to a complicated streaming agreement (preceding the series' explosive popularity), Yellowstone will not be available on Paramount Plus for the foreseeable future. Instead, the exclusive streaming rights to the series belong to Peacock.

The streaming service offers the first five seasons of the series on-demand, with the second half of season five releasing sometime after it begins airing.

You can purchase Peacock for $7.99 per month watch with advertising, or $13.99 to watch without them.

Remember that Peacock has all of “Yellowstone” but no “1883” or “1923” appears. These are only available on Paramount Plus (free trial), which you can find out more about below.

When does Yellowstone season 5 come back?

“Yellowstone” will return Sunday to conclude its fifth and final season. November 10, 2024. After many setbacks, including the WGA and SAG/AFTRA strikes, the series will finally reach its conclusion with these final six episodes.

When will “Yellowstone” Season 5 Part 2 be released on Peacock?

We can't say for sure, but we can make an educated guess.

There is no official confirmation regarding the Peacock release of Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2.

However, the first half of season five ended on January 1, 2023. A little over five months later, on May 25, the first eight episodes of the season were released on Peacock.

Assuming there is no disruption to the series' release schedule, the series finale will air around December 15th. This makes it likely (but not guaranteed) that the series will air in its entirety sometime in May 2025.

The only season of “1883” is only available on Paramount Plus. There are no other places to see it. The same goes for “1923”.
