The military is continuing its operational activities throughout the Gaza Strip and southern Lebanon to achieve its goal of eliminating the terrorist organizations Hamas and Hezbollah and attacking hundreds of terrorist targets in a single day, the IDF announced early Tuesday morning.

Operational activities in southern Lebanon are aimed at dismantling the critical points of Hezbollah's terror infrastructure by using IDF ground forces and IAF fighter aircraft in combination with close combat and air strikes.

During this operation, troops located and destroyed large quantities of Hezbollah weapons.

According to the IDF, joint efforts between ground forces and the IAF have resulted in the destruction of more than 200 Hezbollah terror targets deep in Lebanese territory over the past day. These include, among other things, terrorist cells, anti-tank missile posts and surface-to-surface missile launchers.
