Jamie xx announces “In Waves” world tour 2025

Jamie xx has announced a world tour in support of his new album In Waves. All dates and ticket information can be found below.

In Waves, Jamie xx's first solo album since 2015's In Color, was released on September 20th. Last week he celebrated his release with two major homecoming shows at London's Alexandra Palace on September 25th and 26th, and earlier this summer he announced a series of club residencies in New York and Los Angeles, starting next year.

Now the DJ, producer and member of The xx has announced that he will be embarking on a colossal world tour that will run from October 2024 to March 2025.

“The In Waves Tour kicked off in London last week and I’m about to take it on tour around the world,” Jamie said in a press release. “That’s funny!”

He will open the show series with a previously announced appearance in Mexico City on October 2nd before traveling to Arizona, Miami, Buenos Aires, Santiago and São Paulo. He will then play Taipei, the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore and Tokyo in November before heading to Australia in December to play shows in Melbourne, Sydney and other locations.

He will then return to North America in January 2025 for shows in New York, Chicago, Vancouver and Los Angeles before embarking on a European tour in March with stops in Copenhagen, Prague and Milan. Finally, he will graduate on March 21st in Paris.

Artist pre-sales open on Thursday (October 3) at 10am local time in Europe/US and 12pm local time across Asia. Click here to register for presale. A full list of dates can be found below. NME gave “In Waves” a four-star review and called the album “an even more melancholy record than its predecessor – and also a less immediately exciting one.” But it's arguably a more complex beast, coming from a complex era and yet written by a musician with an eye for the simple, timeless joys of the club. With “In Waves,” almost a decade after the triumph of “In Color,” Jamie xx remains in full bloom.”
