Jennifer Aniston raves about 'salmon sperm' facials and admits wild rumors about her dead therapist are TRUE

Jennifer Aniston addressed a number of rumors about herself during her appearance on The Jimmy Kimmel Show on Wednesday.

The 55-year-old “Friends” star set the record straight during a light-hearted game of true-or-false with the host.

Among them was the story that she had previously undergone a “salmon sperm facial” and the rumor that she had “a Zip-Loc bag” containing “her dead therapist's ashes” – both of which turned out to be true.

After Jimmy inquired whether she had the salmon sperm facial, the star – who elsewhere in the series became emotional about the on-screen death of his father Kris Kristofferson – replied: “I have.”

“But let me explain it to you. It's not about how do you get sperm out of a salmon? It was kind of unclear.'

Then she explained, “I just took the woman's word that it was.” And I thought, “Sure.”'

A confused Jimmy then stumbled over his words: “Yeah, well, I mean – if it's not that – so be it… I mean, I don't know.”

Aniston clarified, “I don't know, it's supposed to be small and tiny, like the microneedling they do.”

“And then it was a matter of pushing the salmon sperm in. 'Don't I have beautiful salmon skin?' she asked humorously.

Last year, Aniston made it clear she had doubts about the effectiveness of the facial's unique ingredients when she told the Wall Street Journal: “At first I said, 'Are you serious?' How do you get salmon sperm?”

The Hollywood superstar admitted to the publication that she didn't feel the facial helped improve her skin's youthful glow.

Instead, the star explained that she swears by weekly peptide injections to combat the effects of aging, explaining, “I think that's the future.”

Salmon sperm is being hailed as the next must-have Korean beauty ingredient. It is currently offered in medical spas with the promise of increasing cell turnover, producing more collagen, and improving pigmentation and inflammation.

Elsewhere in the show, Jimmy asked about her late therapist. “You have a Zip-Loc bag with your dead therapist’s ashes? That was a bit true, wasn't it?'

“It's a little bit true. “I’m going to sound like I really need a therapist after this,” she replied.

He replied, “Sounds like you need one or the other.”

Aniston spoke about owning her therapist's ashes back in 2012 in an interview with GQ, explaining, “I have my therapist's ashes in a bag.” She viewed me as a kind of daughter, and I viewed her as a kind of mother. I went to her funeral. “They divided them into little Ziploc bags that they handed out like party favors.”

One rumor the star dispelled was that she installed “a $4,000 anti-aging water filter” in her home for her dogs.

“That's not true. Is that somewhere?” she replied. “That's what you would do if there were?” he asked.

“Absolutely no.”

When asked if she travels abroad “with jars full of olives”? She replied, “Yes.”

Jimmy continued, “You have a black belt in ju-jitsu?” to which she replied, “Absolutely not.”

“They once asked you for an autograph when you were naked in the sauna?”

She shocked the audience when she replied, “Yes. 'One picture.'

“You said no?” he asked. “I said absolutely no,” she said.

“When you were 11, you had a work of art hanging in MOMA, the Museum of Modern Art?”

“Yes, I did,” she replied. “It was good.” “They had this room, they were doing an art exhibit that was done by the kids at this Waldorf school that I went to,” she said.

“Finally, a question from my childhood. 'On Christmas Eve, did your family let you belly dance?' Jimmy asked.

The star said: “Anytime, not just Christmas Eve.” You know. The Greeks love any kind of family meal, they would say, “Let’s get up and watch” – it’s like saying to your child, “Play the piano for everyone, let’s sing for everyone.”

“I get so scared when my friends do this to their children. “I have internal trauma from having to perform and belly dance in front of my Greek aunts, uncles and grandmothers.”

Jennifer was on the ABC talk show to promote her new children's book, Clydeo Takes a Bite Out of Life, based on her rescue dog Clyde.

The actress has signed a four-book deal with HarperCollins Publishers and animation studio Invisible Studio for a series of works featuring the animated dog Clydeo.

Jennifer brought her beloved dog Clyde with her to the talk show studio in Los Angeles. Clyde also made his television debut when Jennifer brought him on stage with Jimmy.

Jennifer said the book is about finding meaning in life.
