Jennifer Aniston's 'Bikini Body' AI Deepfake Debunked by Influencer

Jennifer Aniston's 'Bikini Body' deepfake has been exposed by influencer as an AI scam to sell collagen

It's scary when you realize that we're all living in a science fiction movie – and the movie we're watching is the main character Jennifer Aniston; Maybe she just doesn't know yet. A video went viral on Facebook showing Aniston chatting animatedly with her Nicole Kidman about how she maintains her “bikini body” in her 50s, but guess what? It's 100% fake.

The video, hosted on a wellness Facebook page, appears to show Aniston, 55, talking about how she's changed her health and fitness routine to burn more fat – and “she” does some seriously questionable science about the effects of As your body ages, it takes on more carbs and cardio.

The good news is that none of this actually happened! The frightening news is that a lot of people will believe it. Keen-eyed fans of Aniston will know that in the original clip she appears only with other Hollywood darlings like Kidman, Naomi Watts And Sofia Vergara in one Hollywood Reporter Roundtable from a few months ago. However, deepfake scammers have removed the original audio and dubbed it over with an Aniston-like AI extolling the virtues of collagen supplements and attributing them to “why my body doesn't store fat.” Unsurprisingly, the video – which has now been removed, but not before racking up around a million views – is designed to sell supplements, and the voice sounds just like the Aniston we know and love. But trust Usit's not real!

Luckily British fitness influencer Ben Carpenter The deepfake was brought to attention by a concerned follower who feared Aniston was spreading false information about the power of collagen. Carpenter, who often exposes questionable social media wellness content, did his best to remedy the situation by explaining how the scam took place. Unfortunately for the casual Facebook browser, however, the damage has already been done, and this may well look real. Finally, Aniston is known to have a great body. Why shouldn’t she share her “secrets” with us?

The fact is that big stars like Aniston in 2024 generally don't really talk about how they “get” their bodies, since we all know it usually comes down to a blessed combination of great genes, money, and the pressure of getting a job make that requires freedom from mistakes and extreme discipline. And everyone knows that an entire generation of women grew up with terrible body image, thanks largely to the skinny celebrity culture of the '90s and '00s. Unfortunately, these are probably the very women being targeted by content like this on Facebook, and they love Jen.
