Julian Love, Boye Mafe and Derick Hall are all active for the 49ers game at the Seattle Seahawks

SEATTLE – Linebackers Boye Mafe and Derick Hall and safety Julian Love are all active and will play against the San Francisco 49ers after being listed as questionable with injuries this week at the Seattle Seahawks.

Love was the most uncertain player of the trio as a hamstring injury threatened to keep him out of the lineup. Head coach Mike Macdonald indicated Wednesday that he expects Mafe (knee) and Hall (foot) to be able to play, but Love will be a mid-game decision.

Ultimately, all three will play against the 49ers in the battle for the top spot in the NFC West.

Cornerback Riq Woolen (ankle) is out with an ankle injury suffered Sunday against the New York Giants, and rookie nose tackle Byron Murphy II will miss a third game with the team due to a hamstring injury against the Miami Dolphins.

Additionally, linebacker Uchenna Nwosu was officially placed on injured reserve on Thursday as he is expected to miss at least a month with a hamstring injury. Nose tackle Cameron Young was activated from the physically unable to perform list in Nwosu's place after practicing with the team for the past two weeks. Young has been sidelined since suffering a knee injury in last year's season finale in Arizona.

Cornerback Artie Burns was signed from the practice squad to bolster the defense, with Woolen also out of the lineup. Guard McClendon Curtis was released to clear a spot on the roster for Burns' new addition. Burns is an experienced option who is better suited to fill in than rookie Nehemiah Pritchett, who was forced to play on reserve duty last week after Woolen's injury.

Safety Ty Okada and linebacker Jamie Sheriff were also called up from the practice squad to add depth since Love, Mafe and Hall are uncertain entering the game.
