KISD Board Approves  Million Window Film | Local News

The Killeen School Board this week approved a $2 million installation project for “burglar-proof” window films in schools and other buildings throughout Killeen ISD.

In a presentation to the board Tuesday, Adam Rich, the district's assistant superintendent of facilities, explained that Texas administrative law requires school districts to at least ensure that all exterior doors that contain glass are modified so that the glass is not easily damaged may break and allow an intruder to open the door or otherwise gain entry through it.
