Liam Payne's girlfriend Kate Cassidy has been seen in public for the first time since she posted about her sadness for the One Direction star following his tragic death.

Ms. Cassidy, 25, left Argentina two days before the singer fell 45 feet to his death from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires last Wednesday at the age of 31.

The actress was spotted in Florida this weekend picking up dog food for the pooch she shares with Payne.

Ms Cassidy walked down the street with two pals while holding a bag under each arm.

She and Payne had originally flown to Buenos Aires to see his former bandmate Niall Horan's concert on October 4th, but he stayed in the country after his girlfriend flew home on October 14th.

On Friday, she broke her silence to pay an emotional tribute to Payne. The post on her Instagram read: “Thank you for all the kind words and love sent my way.”

“I was completely at a loss. Nothing from the last few days felt real. I ask and pray that you give me the grace and space to work through this privately.”

“Liam, my angel. You are everything. I want you to know that I loved you unconditionally and completely. I will continue to love you for the rest of my life. I love you, Liam.'

Ms. Cassidy and Payne began dating in October 2022 and made their red carpet debut at the Fashion Awards later that same year.

The couple then put an end to split rumors by enjoying a date in London in June 2023, and later that same year she supported him when he was hospitalized with a “severe kidney infection.”

The former One Direction star fell from the third floor of the Casa Sur Palmero hotel.

Police and prosecutors continue to investigate the tragedy, which is being treated as an “inconclusive death.”

An autopsy revealed that he died from multiple injuries.

The lead investigator, prosecutor Marcelo Roma, requested that histopathological, biochemical and toxicological studies be carried out to confirm whether the musician was drugged and drunk.

It is expected that it will take between 10 and 15 days for the results to be available. Argentina's Criminal and Penitentiary Prosecutor's Office currently believes his death is “inconclusive,” it has emerged.

His father Geoff traveled to the Argentine capital to visually confirm the body was that of his son and to arrange for it to be repatriated to the UK once it was cleared by authorities. His funeral is expected to take place in November.

Two employees of the hotel where Payne fell to his death are today under investigation for supplying the star with drugs in the days before the tragedy.

The men are accused of smuggling her into the singer's suite at the hotel.

A cleaner and another employee allegedly hid the drugs in a Dove soapbox that investigators found in Payne's room after Payne's death.

Liam Payne was pictured next to an elevator in the lobby of the Casa Sur Hotel at 4.28pm on Wednesday – shortly before his death, which is currently being treated as “inconclusive”.

White powder, crystals, pills and other paraphernalia were discovered in the third floor suite.

Police have sent the chemicals – suspected to be cocaine and crack – for analysis.

The management of CasaSur in the posh district of Palermo was apparently made aware of the unusual behavior of the unnamed men and fired an employee.

Investigators have also questioned her about her possible role in Payne's death.

“There were two guys in the hotel giving Liam drugs,” a close friend of Mr Payne revealed.

“They sent taxis to pick up packages for him.” One of the boys worked in the cleaning department. After Liam died, they noticed a taxi being sent to the cleaner's home address.

“The hotel manager asked him why the taxi had gone to his house and when he couldn’t provide an explanation he was fired.”

“The cleaner and another employee were questioned by the police.”

The friend added: “Liam did everything he could to stay clean but as soon as he got to the hotel these people offered him alcohol and drugs.”

Representatives of the CasaSur Hotel have so far declined to comment.
