Liberty loses heartbreaker to Lynx as epic WNBA Finals heads to Game 5

MINNEAPOLIS – New York has waited more than 50 years for a basketball championship.

You have to wait another game until a second shot is fired.

With 18.3 seconds left in a thrilling Game 4 of the WNBA Finals Friday night, the Lynx had the ball on their side and Courtney Williams missed a jump shot, but Bridget Carleton was fouled on the rebound.

She hit both shots from the charity jersey, giving the Lynx a two-point lead.

When the Liberty tried to inbound the ball with two seconds left, they finally made it to Sabrina Ionescu, who fired a hopeless shot.
