Mets announce Game 6 Watch Party at Citi Field

Mets announce Game 6 Watch Party at Citi Field

The Mets have announced that they will host their third Watch Party of the MLB postseason at Citi Field on Sunday, October 20th as the Mets (hopefully) take on the Dodgers in Game 6 of the National League Championship Series. The Mets previously hosted watch parties for Game 3 of the Wild Card Round and Game 1 of the National League Division Series. It's worth noting that the Mets won both games in thrilling fashion.

Fans can purchase tickets to the Watch Party for $10. All net proceeds go to the Amazin' Mets Foundation. The Mets are offering free parking and select $5 discounts to all fans in attendance, similar to what they did on Tuesdays at the stadium this year. Fans will be treated to pre-game entertainment, prizes and more. The property opens at 6:00 p.m., gates open at 6:30 p.m. for first pitch at 8:08 p.m.

Following the team's loss in Game 3, there are three possible outcomes for the Watch Party:

  1. The Mets win the next two games, in which case they could be playing for a chance to punch their ticket to the World Series.
  2. The Mets split the next two games, in this case they will play on Monday, October 21st to force a Game 7.
  3. The Mets are dropping the next two games, in which case there will be no Game 6 and fans will receive a refund “within seven business days to the same payment method used for the purchase.”
