There's also our weekly Live From The Crib with top recruit updates from Booker T.'s 27-14 victory over Southridge.

We have an update with Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage 2026 WR Brandon Bennett. Communication between Bennett and the Hurricanes has been smooth over the past few weeks and he plans to attend the Miami-Florida State game.

Also get the latest on priority Tyrone (Ga.) Sandy Creek four-star 2026 running back Amari Latimer.

Suwanee (Ga.) Collins Hill four-star 2026 defensive tackle Deuce Geralds still has many schools high on his radar, but Miami already stands out.

And Marianna (Florida) four-star 2026 running back Amari Clemons, the No. 191 overall pick and No. 19 running back next year, appears to be an early Hurricanes priority. He hopes to visit Miami for the Hurricanes' game against Florida State and provides updates on the latest developments.

Another likely visitor this weekend is three-star cornerback Shmar Akande of Pembroke Pines (Florida). Despite his surprise summer signing with the Toledo Rockets, Miami head coach Mario Cristobal and the Hurricanes haven't stopped recruiting the local defensive back. Get the latest there.

Since the start of the high school football season this fall, it might be harder to find a 2025 prospect whose stock has risen higher than four-star Pittsburgh (Pa.) Central Catholic athlete Bradley Gompers. In recent weeks, the Duke team has received offers from Ole Miss, Michigan, NC State, Pen State, Vanderbilt, Virginia and most recently Miami. And he can visit us. Find out about it.

We also meet Tyler Williams, the 2025 four-star receiver from Tampa (Florida) Armwood. He remains loyal to Georgia, but the No. 190 overall prospect in the On300 knows he wants to visit Miami at least one more time before the Dec. 4 early signing period.

And as always, stay up to date with all the news that's out there today.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY

Mario has developed a lot as a coach… Posted by CANESKINGOFFCFB

There is no way he would ever have finished 4th in these three games in recent years… His record after the bye weeks is disastrous, but he played to win today, he knows the defense is short of strong players in the secondary lacking. Our best defense was our offense. For the first time that I can remember, Mario didn't behave conservatively, instead letting the best unit on the team win the game and moving on. We NEED to sign some elite Ball Hawk CBs and safeties like we have in this class, and I think at least three or four will start immediately next season. Unfortunately, this will be our season for the rest of our season, with non-stop offense. At least Mario has Dawson doing everything he can to keep us alive, which is completely unlike Mario in the past. He deserves recognition for that…

“We had some mistakes on special teams that hurt us, but one thing that didn't hurt us was our performance. We always played hard and resilient and made some crucial plays when it mattered most.”
