Mizzou WR Theo Wease shares pregame trash talk he received before matchup against Texas A&M's Will Lee

In his hotel room in College Station, a surprise awaited Missouri wide receiver Theo Wease.

The WR had a Texas A&M blanket in front of him and a note that said, “Get used to this blanket, it'll be real tomorrow,” signed by William “The Blanket” Lee.

If you don't know, A&M's Will Lee III was one of the best corners in the country in 2024.

Lee ranks 7th with 7 passes defended. Lee's nickname is “The Blanket” due to his ability to cover.

However, Wease will be a big challenge for Lee. The WR leads Mizzou in catches and receiving yards with 26 for 287. Wease and Luther Burden are arguably the best WR duo in the nation.

Lee has had a phenomenal season so far in his first season with the Aggies. Lee transferred after playing at Kansas State in 2023. The cornerback is second on the team with 20 tackles in 2024. Lee also has a team-leading 7 passes defensed.

Since the loss to Notre Dame in Week 1, the No. 25 Aggies have been on the rise. The team has won four straight and is now looking for its second SEC win.

The No. 9 Tigers are also looking for another SEC win, but the Aggies will be their toughest matchup yet. The Tigers escaped with an overtime win over Vanderbilt in their first conference test.

These SEC rivals will kick off at 12 p.m. ET. Wease brought the blanket to Kyle Field.
