The Cleveland Browns have fallen to 1-5 as the team's offense continues to falter and there is no reliable presence or identity.

That could change next week when Nick Chubb, the Browns' star running back, steps out of the shadows of a year-long recovery and returns to Huntington Bank Field.

These days, it's not just fans who believe Chubb's qualities are superhuman.

Even 2023 NFL Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett believes the athlete fans call “Batman” can help the Browns regain offensive relevance.

In his postgame press conference, Garrett expressed some optimism to the media as he referenced a line from “The Dark Knight” trilogy and expressed his hope for the team's turnaround following Chubb's return (via X).

“The day is darkest before the dawn,” Garrett said, referencing the famous line from “The Dark Knight.”

“And hopefully we have a great game next week,” Garrett added of Chubb, noting, “He’s going to help turn things around and we’re going to continue to find ways to win.”

Garrett believes the team is moving toward the next step as it looks to bounce back from a 1-5 start to the 2024 NFL season.

Chubb's return will help shut down the offense, Garrett said.

“We're very close right now,” Garrett said, adding, “We've got to find a way to finish these games.” We're putting ourselves in position. We just have to take the next step.”

Insider Mary Kay Cabot reported today that Chubb is expected to return next week against the Cincinnati Bengals.
