Take it from Mary J. Blige – self-love attracts love.

The “Real Love” singer spoke to “Extra” ahead of her induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and revealed that she has found love again. Blige's mystery man was also celebrating her great honor with her, she said.

“I'm feeling great, and yes (he's celebrating this moment). And love comes from within,” she said. “If you have the love for yourself, you will draw someone who really gives a lot of yourself,” she beamed.

Meanwhile, the road to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame was a dark one at times. “I didn't manage to do everything right. I got here by falling on my face and getting back up,” she said.

For example, during the era of her 1994 album “My Life,” it was said: “I was in trouble. I was in a dark place. I hated myself. I hated my life and a lot of my fans responded… and said, “Mary, we're going through the same thing.” “We got you,” she said.

“And that’s what created this movement that we’re seeing right now,” she added.

In addition to finding love and receiving music's highest honor, Blige is more grateful to her fans than ever these days. “It took a long time and my fans know what I mean, but we came. We have seen. We have won. We are here,” she said during her speech at the Rock Hall plaque dedication.

On Friday, Blige released her latest single “You Ain't the Only One” and plans to release her new album titled “Gratitude.”

“I am full of (gratitude). I'm just so grateful because I can walk in love and seek peace, and I'm not perfect, but I'm walking in a place where I'm going in the right direction,” she said.

In the meantime, she will continue to revel in all her Rock & Roll Hall of Fame glory.

“This is the highest honor because people honor you for so many things other than just your music. They honor you for your life journey and how you have changed other people’s lives through your music,” she concluded.
