The 2024 NFL season continues this week with meetings between the Detroit Lions and the Minnesota Vikings, the Houston Texans and Green Bay Packers, the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers, the next game in London with the New England Patriots and the Jacksonville Jaguars and many more. The complete 18-week regular schedule for the 2024 NFL season is now available. So if you still feel like you don't know where to watch/stream games this year, you can look ahead and find out the best way to watch the games in the 2024-25 NFL season.

This year, NFL games will be broadcast on over 10 channels and streaming platforms. If you're afraid of the challenge of following your favorite team through the upcoming season (or are put off by the price tag associated with NFL Sunday Ticket), Yahoo Sports is for you. Many NFL preseason games are broadcast on local channels. So if you want to watch a game in the market, all you need to do is turn on your TV (or set up a digital TV antenna) or find a live TV streaming service that carries the correct RSN (Regional Sports Network). If you want to watch out-of-market games, a $5 monthly subscription to NFL+ lets you watch all of the out-of-market local and primetime games of the season (and preseason) on your phone – but just some few games on your TV. You could also opt for the overpriced NFL Sunday ticket package to see every out-of-stock Sunday game of the season.

When it comes to nationally televised games, NFL games are typically broadcast on ESPN, NBC, CBS, Fox, ABC and NFL Network. Thursday Night Football games will be streamed exclusively on Amazon Prime Video, and select football games will be streamed exclusively On Peacock, games on CBS will stream live on Paramount+ with SHOWTIME this season and select games will stream on ESPN+ this season. That's six channels and four streaming platforms to keep up with this season – and that includes your local RSNs for games that are in the market and an NFL+ or NFL Sunday Ticket subscription for games that aren't are on the market, not yet included. Additionally, Netflix is ​​currently negotiating to become the exclusive place to watch the NFL's Christmas games this year.

YouTube TV gives you almost all the channels you need for the 2024 NFL season, including Fox, NBC, ABC, CBS, ESPN, and NFL Network. Plus, YouTube TV is home to NFL Sunday Ticket this season! The Sunday Ticket package, while expensive in itself ($479.99/season), gives you ALL of the Sunday games that are not on the market (160+ games per season).

If you bundle Sunday Ticket with YouTube TV, you can purchase both for four months for $146.49/month (that's $586 for the season). Now you'll need to continue paying for YouTube TV to retain access to the NFL Sunday Ticket package. Currently, you can get your first three months of YouTube TV for $52.99/month for the first four months. The cost then increases to $72.99/month.

Another plus point of this option is that YouTube gives you a maximum of four months with the “YouTube TV + NFL Sunday Ticket” package.

Note that YouTube TV live streams tend to run with a slight lag, which isn't great if you're trying to watch the live game down to the second.

Paramount+ offers subscribers access to NFL games on CBS. The platform is also ideal for fans of Champions League football. Star Trek, Survivor, The Challenge and much more.

Amazon Prime Video is the exclusive home of the NFL Thursday Night Football games. A standard Amazon Prime subscription costs $15 per month or $139 per year. However, discounts are available for students and those with qualified government assistance. Channel Master

Wait, a flat TV antenna? Aren't these things supposed to have long, telescoping metal poles (aka bunny ears)? No, this new design (which you'll see on tons of other brands) works just as well and is not intended to sit on your TV. Instead, mount it to a wall or window using the included adhesive pads with either the black or white side facing inward to better fit your decor.

The aptly named Flatenna is truly flat as a piece of paper. You simply screw one end of the 12-foot cable into the bottom and the other end into your TV's coax input. (Yes, that means you have an ugly cable running down your wall; consider a conduit kit like this one to hide it.)
