The New Orleans Saints disappointed their fans earlier this week. Instead of waiting until Sunday or Monday, the NFL scheduled the Thursday Night Football game between the Saints and Denver Broncos. Sean Payton returned to town and reminded everyone that, unlike Dennis Allen, he knows how to win in prime time at Caesars Superdome.

The scheduling of the game was a blessing. Now you can enjoy the wide range of games stress-free.

The rivals Atlanta Falcons against the Seattle Seahawks, Houston Texans against Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings against Detroit Lions are just a few of the highlight games of the first round. The outstanding late game is the San Francisco 49ers vs. Kansas City Chiefs game.

If you're in the New Orleans area, you'll be treated to 506 sportscasts with Texans vs. Packers on CBS and Falcons vs. Seahawks on FOX. FOX has the doubleheader, so the entire country will see the Super Bowl rematch.
