Detroit Lions defensive star Aidan Hutchinson suffered a suspected broken leg against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

Hutchinson, the NFL's sack leader, suffered the injury early in the third quarter while attempting to tackle Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.

The 24-year-old's leg collided with teammate Alim McNeill, who was coming from the other direction, and as Hutchinson fell to the ground the damage was obvious.

Both sets of players knelt next to him and said prayers while Hutchinson received medical treatment. Fox, meanwhile, refused to show replays of the incident.

Drafted No. 2 in the 2022 NFL Draft, Hutchinson has proven to be a transformative presence for the Lions, who are Super Bowl contenders this season.

If he broke his leg, Hutchinson's season would likely be over after just six games.

The Lions were in full control when the incident occurred after they had built a massive 34-6 lead at AT&T Stadium.

More to follow.
