Opening Night at Honda Center, presented by Ticketmaster, will take place on Wednesday, October 16th

The Ducks today announced the schedule to celebrate the start of the 2024-25 National Hockey League (NHL) regular season, presented by UCI Health. The Ducks begin the regular season with back-to-back road games beginning this Saturday, October 12th against the San Jose Sharks (7 p.m.), followed by a matchup at the Vegas Golden Knights on Sunday, October 13th (7 p.m ).

Fans are welcome to watch the Ducks during their first game at the official Season Opener Watch Party at Brewery DJ JoJo Maestrado. Brewery X is located at 3191 E. La Palma Ave., Anaheim, California 92806.

The club's home opener, presented by Ticketmaster, is scheduled for Wednesday, October 16 against the Utah Hockey Club (7 p.m.). Ducks fans are encouraged to wear orange to show their support. This evening at the Honda Center will mark the regular season debut of the club's new primary jerseys, which will be celebrated with a raffle of a Ducks jersey rally towel courtesy of Ticketmaster.

Fans are asked to be in their seats by 6:30 p.m. to enjoy the pregame show and opening night festivities, including the introduction of the team's 2024-25 21st Duck and special introductions from players, coaches and trainers.

The inaugural show will introduce the most technologically advanced game entertainment experience in professional sports. Installation has been completed of an upgrade to 154 lighting fixtures, including spots, beams, strobes and lasers, offering over 16 million color combinations and dynamic cutting-edge technology that provide a fully immersive experience at the venue. Included in the upgrades are 12 Christie laser projectors that provide 4K clarity for epic images on the ice, as well as state-of-the-art 50,000 lumen RGB laser projection technology, making them the brightest projectors in professional sports! The projection system delivers rich images, but also real-time visualization of live game statistics on the ice.
